It is important during this period for all members to be strong, confident and to stand united as ONE BIG BUSINESS COMMUNITY to overcome the impact of the pandemic and work together to boost business and economic recovery, ensure the wellbeing of our people and fellow Malaysians and to restore growth and confidence in the country.Īs we approach the 64 th National Day celebrations on August 31, 2021, I call on all fellow members to stand with each other in solidarity with our nation and work together for a brighter future for all. We must also continue to remind our employees that SOP compliance goes beyond the workplace and must be strictly observed at home as any slight slack in the SOP adherence will cost us dearly and set back our recovery process. I therefore urge all members to continue with the efforts to get all employees fully vaccinated as well as to pledge your strictest level of adherence to the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) as the virus continues to be in the community and poses risks to our business operations. We have come to see that vaccination is the most powerful weapon to prevail over the pandemic and revive businesses and the economy.
